✅ What makes a good deal

A great DealOasis deal should be:

• Real and verifiable — the offer must be live and accessible to the public (or clearly stated if limited)
• Significant saving — ideally at least 10–15% off the regular price, or a genuinely good value for money
• Available in the UAE — the deal must be redeemable in the Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.) or clearly stated as online/UAE-wide
• Clearly described — include the original price, discounted price, where to get it, and any conditions (promo code, app-only, min. spend, etc.)
• Properly categorised — choose the most relevant category and city so other members can find it easily
• Time-sensitive when applicable — if the deal has an expiry date, mention it so the community knows when it ends

❌ What is not allowed

The following types of content will be rejected or removed by our moderation team:

• Fake or expired deals — do not post offers that are no longer live
• Spam or duplicate posts — do not post the same deal multiple times
• Self-promotion without disclosure — if you work for or represent a brand you are posting about, you must disclose this in the deal description
• Referral links — deals posted with personal referral codes or affiliate links that primarily benefit the poster are not allowed
• Misleading pricing — inflating the "original" price to make a saving look bigger than it is
• Illegal or prohibited content — anything that violates UAE law, including counterfeit goods, prohibited substances, or illegal services
• Adult, offensive or inappropriate content — DealOasis is a family-friendly platform
• Personal attacks or harassment — any deal or comment that targets individuals negatively
• Low-effort posts — posts with no description, missing price information, or broken links

🌴 The DealOasis voting system

Every deal can be voted up ("📈 Deal") or down ("📉 No Deal") by the community. Votes reflect the genuine opinion of members — whether the deal is truly worth it.

• You can only vote once per deal — votes cannot be changed or undone
• Deals with high positive votes earn badges: 🌱 Fresh, 📈 Trending, or 🏆 Oasis Gold
• Vote brigading (coordinating to artificially inflate or tank a deal) is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension

🛡️ Moderation process

All deals go through a manual review by our moderation team before appearing on the site. We aim to review submissions within 24 hours.

Deals that do not meet our standards will be rejected. If your deal is rejected, you will be notified by email with the reason.

Published deals that are later found to violate these rules may be removed at any time without notice.

⚠️ Affiliate links and commercial relationships

Some links on DealOasis may be monetised through affiliate programmes. This means DealOasis may earn a small commission when you click through and make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. Whether or not a link is monetised has no impact on whether a deal is approved or how it ranks. That is entirely up to the community vote.

If you find a deal that you believe violates these rules (expired, fake, misleading), please contact us at support@dealoasis.me and we will review it promptly.
